When tuning trucks (but also agricultural vehicles, construction or forestry machines) the aim is to increase performance (torque) and/or reduce consumption. In this respect, eco and sustainability are also very important here!
Trucks, agricultural vehicles, construction or forestry machines are expensive to buy. Most of the time, the next higher performance level (i.e. the certainty that it will do the intended work) costs much more than if you achieved the additional performance on a smaller version through chip tuning. In 2005, ChipTuningPower was one of the first to develop map optimizations for the engine management of heavy-duty vehicles.
